Martin is one of the 'rich kids', but his parents are friends with Alex's and Zack's families so he's been brought up not to care about class boundaries. Martin is a serious guy, but has a soft spot for Zack that no-one knows about.

William is one of the 'rich kids' and failed his sophomore year, meaning he had to repeat it. He met Mike that year and became firm friends, therefore joining Mike's group. William is a quiet guy and very smart.

Paul is a new guy appearing later in the story, and one of the 'rich kids'. He's close with Martin because they're neighbours, and loves to party. At first his prejudices flare up, but he soon gets over them.
