Big city boy who knows nothing more than how to cause trouble and destroy his and other lives around him. He get's into trouble most of the time, usually ending up having a stay over in a cell or turning up on his mothers doorstep flanked by officers. He has hated his father since he was eight because his father left his mother for another woman. His father moved to the country where he took over a small ranch with horses and a few other animals and never contacted Anson afterwards.

Melon belongs to Laura's sister and is soon to be the 'proud' mother of Butch's babba!! Yes, my little Butch has manned up and taken a lovely little maiden =P (Don't you just love this horse already? I mean come on! She's called MELON! lol =P)

Star is a very motherly horse. She has a way of sensing that something is wrong and tends to stick close to someone who is upset (Like what she did with Anson) She is Laura's horse.

Marko

He is Max's favourite horse, the one he uses for almost everything Marko is a strong masculine horse. He could challenge Onyx in a contest of who has the bigger balls =P Theoretically of course >_< Although he is petrified of spiders =P

Levi

Levi is a very gentle horse that takes care of his rider. He hardly ever kicks up a fuss and doesn't scare easily. He is Grant's horse that he is allowed to keep at the ranch, basically because he works there for practically the whole day and even works after hours to help Max out.

Bobby Ryder

Cute, adorable and giggly. Everything a little boy should be. Bobby was really excited when his dad told him that he had a brother who was coming to stay with him. Of course he didn't find it weird, because he is only four =P He really just wanted Anson to play with him when he first arrived, but found that Anson never really wanted to play. He still tries every now and again, and sometimes keeps his attention for more than a few minutes. He became really frightened when Anson had his episode and doesn't really understand why he did what he did. He is now scared of Anson, but really he just wants Anson to hug him and tell him he's sorry. Poor, simple minded Bobby.

Laura Ryder

Laura is a loveable person. She is married to Max (Anson's dad) And still feels kind of bad for stealing him away from Evaline, although she knows Evaline doesn't hold it against her. She loves her son Bobby, and also sees Anson as a son as well. She loves the fact that she is pregnant again.

Evaline Marter

Evaline is Anson's mother (The one that has seemed to fall off the face of the earth since the begining of the story). She was at one point married to Max, but they got divorced when Max figured out that he was completely in love with his old childhood sweetheart Laura. Evaline has no harsh feelings towards either, she's a very gentle woman. She loves Anson more than anything and wishes she could help him, but he hasn't really listened to her in years and so got caught up in a lot of things he shouldn't have.

Bullet

Bullet is the fastest horse in the stables but rarely shows it. He is a quiet horse who seems lazy but is just a gentle creature. Unless of course you're after his rider, then he will mule kick you into next week...Which we (personally) wouldn't put past him =D {Amyathia: He's one of my favourite's =P}

Butch

Butch is quite a clumsy horse but has a great character. He is a bit of a wimp...scratch that. He's the biggest softy of a horse there is. He sticks close to Grant when he's out of his stall and when he's out in the paddock he will wait around the gate for Grant to come back. He was once an orphan foal but was adopted by the ranch and immediately Grant had taken a liking to him. ( nickname = Two socks (because of his back legs >.<))
