Olive ( The mare) Is usually a very calm horse when it doesn't have anything to do with her foal Rusty who is a new addition to the ranch. Rusty is a lively foal who is severely protected by his dam ( Olive) and Sire (Onyx).

Max is Anson's dad and owner of the Ranch. He rears horses and other animals. He doesn't want to have a bad relationship with Anson but he can't seem to be able to reconnect with him. He loved Evaline but he loves Laura more which is why he is having a family life with her and not Evaline. They are on good speaking terms though which is how he ends up helping out with Anson. He believes that a bit of the country life would do him a lot of good.

He's in charge of Leon and Anson and helps Max train the horses. He's a pretty harsh person when he's bossing people around but he's a big softy at heart. He thinks of the boys as his little brothers. He can see things in people before they see it in themselves. Grant is also the one that found Onyx when he was on the trails with Leon. He is good friends with Max and wants to help him reconnect with his son.

Leon is an 18 year old boy from the country. He works in the stables of Max Ryder, on low pay, but it is the only job he can get to fit in with multiple odd jobs. He is very quiet, and is incredibly intelligent despite his silence. Very shy, but is also very outgoing when he is close enough to someone. Hopeless romantic.

All I'm telling you is that he meant something to Anny and he was the sweetest guy you'd ever know. He died only a little while after turning 17, which is sad =( and at the time Anson was also 17 but he was edging towards 18. But don't worry, everything about Pete will...eventually...Be revealed =P
