Isabel "Izzy" has been Jessica's best friend since childhood. They've grown up with one another, and basically know each other front to back, top to bottom, inside and out. One act of betrayal reveals her true colors, and when Jessica practically commits social suicide, Izzy completely reveals her whole perspective on her "best friend".

He's a stoner most of the time, and also comes from one of the rich families, but doesn't embrace is like all the other kids do, and more often than not likes to be who he is and with the friends he has. Marlene's husband, and Jessica's father. He holds a job at one of the most prestigious law firms in California, where he's the senior district attorney, and explaining the loads of cash being brought into the household. He also retains a very volatile relationship with his daughter, dating back to when she was much younger, and the reasoning will be explained in the story.
