The wife of Phillip Accalia, and the mother of Allia Accalia. She is a shape shifter and was one of the only females in her wolf pack. When she first met Carlisle, she tried to attack him due to her instincts as a shifter. Janine died trying to protect Allia from an attacking coven of vampires somewhere in Europe.
