Hailey Daniels is fed up with her life. The only thing that matters to her is her music, her friends and her brother, Tommy. Practically raising herself, she never liked her parents. The only thing they done for her was show her that there are some pretty messed up people in the world. The only reason she goes to school is for her friends, Kim, Iona, Ollie, Mandy and Matt. She often skips her classes, but only because she feels its useless for her. She wants to be come a musician - a singer to be exact. She is a very bouncy person, thanks to Iona, who brightened her life. She always tells the truth and has a guilty conscience, but still hates to hurt peoples feelings. She can be a bitch if you get her mad, and its very very hard to get her to forgive you. Boy can she hold a grudge. She lives for MCR. She claims that their music is the only thing (beside her friends) that urges her to keep on living.

Kim and her husband Gary live a happy life with their son Johnny. Apart from their reasonably normal lifestyle, they often look after Tommy Daniels, and constantly offer help to Hailey, since they know about their abuse. Both Hailey and Tommy see them as Aunt and Uncle, which is an honour to them. Kim herself is a very welcoming and friendly person, and she hates to say no. She loves spoiling people, especially Johnny, but can do a very good job of embarrasing him...

Fiona Daniels simply doesn't give a shit, and that's basically it. She gave up on her life after starting drugs at a young age, and from there, everything just went lower and lower and lower, until she had a kid. Of course, she couldn't raise the kid by herself, so begged the dad to move in with them. He finally accepted when she offered for free. And so she hated Hailey, for costing her so much money. And then Tommy came along...and you can see where it goes from there.... She doesn't like to do much else rather than sleep, eat and watch TV

Carl had a tough childhood, and from that he learned the only way to get what you want is through violence, However, this became a problem, as soon all he used was violence. And then of course, he ends up with a kid. When the kid (Hailey)'s mum offers for him to move in for free, he agrees to help with raising Hailey. Of course, if beating the shit out of her is what you call raising. He hates everyone, and only trusts himself.

Nora isn't like Jayne, or Ashley, for a matter of fact. She has a kind heart, and even when her friends ridicule the 'emo' girls as they call them, she always apologises. She was best friends with Ashley since Primary School (Elementary) and thats why she stays with her (even though she knows she's changed, and doesn't like the new Ashley). Nora is still a virgin, and is quite shy around boys. She is actually jealous of Hailey, and wants to be her friend.

Jayne is known all through the school to have the greatest fashion sense. She is almost always the one to start trends, even Ashley copies her. She obeys Ashley, even though she hates it. She only sticks with her because she it gets her the popularity. She is called a slut by everyone, even her friends behind her back, and to be honest, its true. She lost her virginity when she was 15, and has been at it more then 10 times since! Despite everything, she tries to be nice. Even though she fails at it.
