Dom is a nineteen year old human living amongst a clan of elves. He and another human boy, Grant, act as 'guardians' for some of the higher ranking young elves, although 'guardian' isn't exactly what you would call Dom's position, he is happy none the less.

Delia is a stereotypical elf, full of selfishness, empty of compassion. She is the youngest daughter of King Sylran, and takes after him in terms of qualities. She is considered higher ranking on the hierarchy scale than her twin siblings, Oren and Arianne.

Grant is Dom's best friend. They live with the elves and are Guardians of the higher ranking young elves.

Lila is an oddity among her elven family. Her father, Kieran--King Sylran's brother-- fell in love with a human named Avila Dante when he ran away from his clan 25 years ago. When the two found out Avila was pregnant, Kieran decided to bring Avila and his unborn child back to the clan, convinced that his father would love her as much as he did. Unfortunately, Kieran's father did not share the adoration of the human girl as he did. Lila's mother died during child birth 21 years ago.

Arianne is the female part of the twin elves that are nearly attached at the hip. Her brother, Oren, and herself are the only two that have any ounce of selflessness amongst the children of King Sylran. They are all about fun and tend to lean towards the bottle of alcohol to let go of themselves.
