Anberlin Rose Huff is the youngest of two kids and loves living near the beach. She lives at home with her parents and older brother. Although he is gone a lot at school. Anberlin is working on an art degree which is where she met Declan. They became quick friends but nothing ever came of that. She has two best friends: Grace and Isabella. She is constantly being the referee for Grace and Isabella but the three of them still remain best friends. She has light brown hair and chocolate brown eyes.

Declan Michael Jones is an only child living with his best friend, Frank. They both work at the same music store and spend most of their time joking around. Declan is in one word a goofball. He is always doing something crazy and always off spray painting something, somewhere. He is going to school for a degree in graphic design/industrial design. He met Anberlin in color theory the first semester they were both at school. They became friends quickly but he never sees their relationship going anywhere past friends. He has brown curly hair, light green/grey eyes, and his lip is pierced.

Grace Marie Daniels is Anberlin's best friend. They've been friends since a chance meeting on the playground when they were 8. Basically Grace pushed a boy down, because he was making fun of Anberlin's glasses. They instantly connected. Grace is loud and obnoxious and lives down the street from Anberlin. They spend a lot of their time at the beach and bugging Isabella at work. Grace works in a clothing store that her older sister owns. She has dark brown/black hair and light grey eyes.

Isabella is another best friend of Anberlin's. She has known Anberlin since she was 5 and Anberlin was 4. They met through their older brothers who were in boy scouts together. They spend a lot of time hanging out and Anberlin is constantly coming to the photography studio where she works and bugging her. She doesn't get along with Grace too well the majority of the time. They just naturally butt heads. Isabella is reserved, quiet, and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She has currently died her hair a dark red color and has dark brown eyes.

Tristan Isaiah Michael is Declan's oldest best friend. They met back in preschool and stayed friends throughout life so far. Even though Tristan is a full grade ahead of Declan. Tristan is the most mature out of their trio and is always telling Declan and Frank to grow up. He works at as a bartender at nights and part time during the day at the only Starbucks in town. He lives by himself in a small apartment. He had layered dark brown and blonde hair, blue eyes, and has a piercing in his lip and nose.

Frank Rogers Devor is the other best friend of Declan's and his roommate. They've been living together for a year now. Their apartment is a hot mess, because neither one of them ever wants to clean it. He works in a music store with Declan and goes to the same school, only his major is music. Frank is actually really smart although he spends most of his time embracing his inner child. He skipped a grade and is therefore in the same grade as Declan. However he still has some growing up to do. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Matthew Elwin Huff is Anberlin's older brother and one of her best friends. Anberlin is a bit of a tom boy because of him. Matthew is still living at home with his parents and Anberlin while he finishes up school. He took a couple years off to work and travel before he started in on school. He can be VERY protective of his little sister at times. When he's not at school he's working at the local tattoo parlor. He loves his sister and just wants to see her happy. He has short dark brown hair, hazel eyes, many tattoo's, and is always wearing sunglasses.
