Merryn is loud, bossy and extremely sarcastic, but she is extremely loyal to those she cares about. Sometimes obnoxious in her intelligence, she enjoys nothing more than a heated argument about religion, various scientific theories or the characters in her favourite TV show.

Rhys is very different to his twin sister. He's much friendlier and more sensitive to other people's feelings, though he isn't anywhere near as intelligent, as she rarely ceases to remind him. He is a hardcore gamer, and his time isn't usually spent doing anything else.

Benedict is extremely quiet and rarely talks to people he doesn't know, but when he has something to say, it is usually pretty worthwhile. He is one of the few people who can challenge Merryn in terms of intellect, and he's almost as much of a brother to her as Rhys is.
