Kathia, a middle-class angel, is young. She is beautiful and innocent, and age has not rusted away her purity. From her perch in heaven, she feels slightly caged, but is content with her love, Will. She is tested in every way, her steadfast love, loyalties, and her sanity-- all coming into question. And somewhere in another world, she feels Will forgetting her, inch by inch, memory by memory, and finds that Heaven is no longer as safe as once it was.

Will is a lower-class angel, never really respected, but nevertheless, there. Sudddenly, as things in the realm of angels begins to even out, the council of the Archangels of heaven, all heavily-gifted, decide to shake up his world. He's thrown into an unreasonable trial, and finds himself in the bullseye of an evil plot from someone within the power spectrum of heaven. Exiled, and an unexperienced guardian angel, he has his hands full with a sixteen year old with problems, family, and no patience for his old-fashioned ways. The only question is... Now what?
