Because he is not the Alpha's son he cannot inherit the pack. He is warm and gently but can also be cold and jagged. He is very protective of those he loves and put's his family and his loyalty to his pack above all else.

In love with Sage. He's extremely protective of Sage and isn't afraid to throw a punch to defend someone. Can be hot headed at times, but also patient and level headed when it comes to Sage. He does not back down from anyone. He's conflicted about the war and his family. Although he is the middle child within the Canis siblings Lukas shows Alpha stature as much as his brother. Sage is the most important thing in the world to him. He does not get along well with Kerrick, partly due to the fact that both are confrontational and neither back down. He is close to his brother Knoll and takes him under his wing from time to time. He avoids his father as much as possible.

Knoll is the youngest of the Canis siblings and often finds himself as referee between his older brothers. He is quiet and more reserved than his brothers he generally does not speak his mind and he is generally very private. He finds himself torn between being loyal to his father and Kerrick and following Lukas who he believes in most. Looks up to Lukas more than he'd admit. He secretly resents Sage a bit for constantly hurting Lukas (not that she means too).

Kerrick is the oldest of the Canis siblings and is set to inherit the pack and become Alpha. He is strong willed, extremely loyal to his father. He is more hot headed than Lukas and also a great deal less compassionate than him. Kerrick is colder than any other member of the family. Considers Lukas and Knoll more of an annoyance and in the way than anything else. He does not hold much loyalty to his two brothers. Dislikes Sage and Western Blackwood in general. Many believe he thinks he is better than everyone else.

Rune became an orphan during the war and mostly resides in Falcon Ridge Forest the no man's land between Eastern and Western Blackwood. She follows Sage blindly and is only loyal to her. Rune spent nearly a year and half in her Were form and so can be rather unpredictable with her temperament and thinking at times. She has the appearance of a sixteen year old girl but can fight as good as any Alpha. When she is not spending her days within the forest she sometimes stays with Lukas because he worries for her as much as Sage does. Sage feels a great deal of responsibility toward Rune. She knows that as strong as Rune is she is also extremely vulnerable. She considers Rune more of a sister than friend.

Jasmine is Conan's ex and she does still love him and yes she blames Sage for what happened. She is generally an angry person and believes she has been wronged in many aspects of her life. She is notorious for holding a grudge and is not the least bit girly but rather a tomboy. Jasmine lives alone. When the war broke out her parents joined Viktor and out of loyalty and love she followed her parents. When she found out that Seneca, her best friend, had been killed she returned to Western Blackwood. She is both ashamed and angry with herself for ever standing against the Wolfe family and feels a need to repent to them for the act. She feels loyal to Sage and the others but at the same time seems have a bone to pick with each of them. She has developed a collection of knives that have become useful.
