He is often a strickler for the rules, always wearing the customary helmet and never leaves cover during the firefights. Lately he has become more reckless since entering the Holoow and his teammates often worry for him. he has known Tai, Marcus, and Dom since the pendulum wars and is very good friends with them he was married to a girl named Jessica Goldblum for a little over a year before she was killed by the Locust on e-day.

Corporal Brandon Thompson is a sniper in the COG army. He is known as one of the best soldiers the COG has left, it is rumored he chain sawed 20 grubs in half when he was only fourteen. He was seriously wounded during Operation Hollow Storm but still received all of the medals the rest of Delta Squad received. He is now a father, he was given a baby that he found while out on a mission. He named her Evelyn and gave her three godfathers. He also is in a unknown/semi relationship with Elisa. He let her stay with him in exchange for her help in taking care of Evelyn. It also rumored that the two had a sexual encounter during the night of intense celebrations after the chaos invasion/Kyras heresy.

Private Benjamin Carmine (COG tags CSID 83B186-22AO3-SF), or Rook by his squad mates and Squirt by his brothers, was the brother of Anthony and Clayton Carmine, and a Gear soldier like them. He joined Delta Squad, which had been Anthony's former squad, after completing training, and was further trained by Sgt.Marcus Fenix and Cpl.Dominic Santiago. He fought in the opening stages of Operation: Hollow Storm

Clayton has a tattoo of his two brothers, Anthony and Benjamin, on his right arm and a Lancer Assault Rifle with the words "Born 2 Saw". On his armor the words "GRUB KILLER", "KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN", "PRACTICE RELOADING", and "DESTROY LOCUST" are inscribed on his chest plate. He has a unique helmet and is physically more muscular than his deceased brothers. Also, he appears more intimidating and has a greater blood lust than his brothers, being able to choke a Drone to death.

Elisa is a recent addition to the Sisters of Battle's fighting force. She is extermly loyal to the cause and blindly loyal to the emperor as all Sisters of Battle are. She was picked of the 300 to stay on Sera on a more permenant basis because of how supposdly "easy" the mission would be and her lack of field expereince made her elders think she would be the right woman for the job. She looks at the COG with a confused point of view. While she sees the gears a fierce and brutal warriors she doesn't understand how the men could be such in her own words "savages". She made this assumption when a gear slapped her on the butt on her way to command for a briefing. She still turned around and punched the man dead in the face. She lives with Thompson due to the fact that the SOB are forcing them to make their own accommodations during their Sera visit. Possibly may also be slowly falling in love with Thompson as well. She also has a fierce rivalry/hatred of Private Byrne. The two of them are constantly arguing and once even pulled weapons on each other. Though she became more tolerant of her after the two were punished for fighting. She realized it wasn't worth fighting over.

Dante is a new recruit, one of the last of a generation that was hastily trained and placed into the COG army. He is noted for his rather unusual set of gear armor. It is blood red with a white cross in the middle. When asked he simply replied that he painted it. When asked about the cross he simply said that he liked the way it looked. Dante has a relationship with a stranded girl , who was taken from the stranded settlement where she lived and then was attacked by Locust. For two months Dante has been searching for her with few results. Until Anya gives him some news after the Kyras's heresy that could mean life or death for her. Dante after he warms up to them became best friends with Baker, Carmine, Corallis, and Manthis.

Trinity is a stranded woman, she was taken prisoner by the locust and is in love with Dante. Her father is the leader of one of the biggest stranded gangs on the schorached earth of Sera. This made her a big target and she was abducted by a rival gang, then the gang was raided by a locust convoy.

Dizzy is a chain smoker and wears a damaged and dirty cowboy hat to complement his Stranded appearance. He has a very joking personality, but is also a very brave and loyal Gear, shown when he attempted to take on Skorge by himself to cover Delta-Ones escape in the grindlifts. He had a permanent patient good nature, which he only lost after he saw a Gorasini attack a little Stranded girl.[31] Despite being a former Stranded, he is a trusted Gear with Hoffman trusting him to keep an eye on the Stranded who accepted amnesty and report back to him. As a result of his defense of them, Delta Squad considers him a good and trusted friend and not a Stranded with Dom Santiago hoping his wife Maria ended up with Stranded like Dizzy who would have taken care of her. Dizzy is also very loyal to his two daughters, having taken up the job as a Gear in order to give them a better life. After he reunited with them, it seemed to do him some good to have them back in his life.

Sam felt that she had to prove she was willing to take more risk than the male Gears, something that Col.Victor Hoffman thought of as a liability unless Sam had a good commander. Her accent also made her sound even more aggressive than she already was. Sam was also a master at giving people tattoos. She gave a number of other Gears tatoos, including Dominic Santiago. She has an intense rivalery/hatred of Elisa. She even pulled her lancer on her and the two fought. The two managed to ease some of the hatred between each other when they were both punished and they started to see the constant bickering was childish.

Until he found meaning in ending other peoples lives. Ronnie is a lively person and always come quick with a witty saying. His signature weapons is his golden lancer who when Baker asked where he had obtained it replied "I tore it out of the bloody, cold, dead hands of a theron guard. Now where he got it I don't know sugar."
