Gianna Summers moved to Arizona from New York immediately after graduating from high school. Upon her arrival, she quickly becomes friends with John O'Callaghan, lead singer for the band The Maine. They form a stong friendship and soon Gianna falls completely in sync with the rest of the boys in the band. When she agrees to do merch for their summer tour, Gianna is faced with a new experience, Joel Kanitz. What Gianna didn't know was that Joel could possibly be just what she was looking for.

Joel Kanitz is the frontman for the up and coming band, This Century. When This Century goes on tour with The Maine, he meets Gianna, the girl that John had been telling him about. From their first meeting, Joel knows that Gianna is something special. He makes it his goal to try and figure her out, no matter what.

Frontman of The Maine, John is Gianna's first friend when she moves to Arizona. They instantly become extremely close, forming a brother/sister like bond. John tries to help Gianna in every way, always looking out for her. He has a feeling that she's good for Joel, and vice versa. He meets Taylor at a club and instantly becomes interested.
