Astra grew up in a abusive family, as a child she lashed out by starting fires. Being extremely bullied by a young girl Astra grew cold to the outside world. She closed herself off to everyone and the only person she talks to is her best friend Bennie. After her grandmother died, Astra inherited a large house and more money than she can imagine. Even though Astra works a small day job at the local coffee house to earn her own money. She uses her job and her looks as a way to meet new potential "friends". Astra Moon is a female serial killer. Her victims are oddly males in their late 20s with dark hair, who resemble her abusive father.

Bennie lives an average life, working along side with Astra in the coffee shop. He understands her coldness towards the world. Astra is his best friend. He loves her, and will always lover her. Bennie has one older brother who has terrorized him since they were young. Like Astra, Bennie's parents are dead. Bennie is a very loving person and is always there with a helping hand.
