    Hope suffers from anorexia and is the oldest of the four. She is a very blunt girl and isn't afraid to speak her mind, but she instantly closes off when the topic turns to her. She's always watching for her three friends and comforts them as best as she can. She has a father who is suffering from depression after her mother left them, triggering her eating disorder. She also has a son and boyfriend waiting for her to get better.

    Pier suffers from a body image disorder. Since he was pressured by his parents to join football he could see himself as a lankly bony boy rather than a strong buff young man. His disorder was hard to detect until he told his girlfriend about it. She instantly sent him to get help, not before breaking up with him. Pier is the most vulnerable of the four which to some seems odd. He secretly begins to fall for Marie, but he can't confront her about it in fear of rejection. Pier hardly talks about his parents, or family. All that is known is that his mother and father belittle him and call him weak.

She's a joker and always tries to lighten the mood around the depressing clinic. She always finds herself intrigued by Pier and slowly finds herself falling for him, but would rather not pursue a relationship until she recovers. She has a loving mother and a brother two years younger than her. She feels guilty about having a disorder and that her brother found her bleeding to death in the bathroom as a suicide attempt.
