Sol is the heroine for the novel POISON. She's red-haired and green eyed, and she cannot recall any of her past except for flashes of dreams that come upon her. She has to not only find her past but face the consquences of the actions of others.

Fraser is the main hero for POISON. Fraser is a Protector, and because of his past he doesn't hold a lot of faith in the Protectors anymore. He once has something to do with Sol, however, he isn't speaking or telling anyone about what happened on the fateful night that stole her memory. He has black eyes, and dark hair. He's very serious and protective. He hates rebels.

Rose is the mother-figure of the group of outcasts that let Sol join them after she lost her memory. Rose is the mother of Reed. The group is a group that are on neither side of the war, they don't like the rebels or Protectors. Rose will protect her family at all costs. She'll be kind and nice, but she will kill whoever threatens her child or her way of life. Rose has dark red-threaded hair and blue eyes.

Reed is Rose's six year old son. . Freckles powdered his nose and cheeks, blue eyes underneath shaggy blond hair.

Raven has ebony colored hair with gray and blue mixed eyes. She's extremely opinionated and quick with guns. Part of the group of wanderers that took in Sol.

Dark eyes, short brown hair. He's a wild child, a prankster with a thing for Raven. However, he's loyal and brave, will never leave a friend hanging. Part of the wanderers.

Oz is the oldest and the wisest of the wanderers. With green eyes and gray hair. He's determined to help Sol, but has some secrets of his own.

Kida is a Protector, one that had been previously close to Sol and Fraser, before the incident. She's a skilled warrior, and thinks rebels are pathetic and disgusting. Blond hair and blue eyes, she's overly skinny.

A rebel, he once was friends with Sol, when she was on the inside. He has dark hair with ice blue eyes. He hates Fraser, for more reasons than Sol. He runs into Kida, and they're friends without realizing that they're both from opposite sides of the war. He plays a major role in the development of Sol, Kida, and Fraser.
