The youngest killjoy in the group known as Wolf's Pack, Shadow is thoughtful and loyal, and at the same time cheeky and fun-loving. He is the equivalent of Luna's best friend, Missy's brother, and Wolf's sidekick. Also friends of the killjoys from the Deathbats.

The eldest and most world-weary killjoy from Wolf's Pack, Wolf is bitter after the death of his wife, Bella Muerte, and has cut himself off from his small group of friends. Though he is the mentor to the two younger killjoys Miss *** and Shadow Dancer, he has lost the reason he was fighting for, and tends to be reclusive and snappy.

Miss ***, otherwise known as Missy, is one of the 'kids' of the group, though she isn't much younger than Luna and Wolf. Missy is perky, cheerful, and always coming up with wacky ideas. While she becomes good friends with Luna, she is like a sister to Shadow and thinks of him as a brother.
