Payton Jade is Jake Pitt's little sister, or something like that. His mom was a surrogate for her best friend who was having a hard time conceiving a child, thus Jade was born. She had a picture perfect family until the age of thirteen when her father randomly snapped and started beating her and her mother. It took years for her mother to tell her father she wanted a divorce his reaction wasn't the best case scenario. He beat her mother and kidnapped Jade. After a few weeks of torturous hell she finally managed to escape. Her and her mother left town and change their names Jade soon became Miranda. They moved to the other side of the US and never looked back. What happens when her father dies and she comes back into Jake's life. Will he accept who she is or the friends she has made along the way.
