Samara Blair is haunted by a mysterious man in her dreams ever since she was a young girl. She comes to find that she and him have known each other for centuries. Samara is from Dark Harbor, Louisiana. Dark Harbor is an island just off the coast of Louisiana, you can only reach it by ferry. Dark Harbor consists of a small town, but a lot of open land around it. On that open land resides a beautiful castle that Samara grew up living by. Samara hasn't been in Dark Harbor for years since she moved to TX to for better schooling, but she's moved back because her father passed and she and her mother are moving back with her grandparents. Samara is going to attend a community college with her friend from TX, Abigail who's an orphan.
