Ivy is the daughter of the king and queen. She accepts that, but she hates when people call her princess when on her own land. She is very curious and always wanting to explore things that are off limits. She loves her family dearly, but sometimes she can't obey their order. Ivy and her mother have a very strange relationship, they love each other and get along, but sometimes it's not enough. Ivy would do anything for the people she loves, especially Mary. Ivy truly would go to any length to make another person happy.

Peter is the "big bad wolf" of the story. His father was Alpha of the pack, but got ***ed by the village because of a slip up. That left Peter as Alpha at the young age of seventeen. He takes care of his pack just as his father had. Peter steals crops from the royal family, he has been since he was twelve. His father and uncle have connections on the inside of the castle so nobody will know. Peter has still not yet mated yet, he believes he has more than enough time to get all his "rides" out before he settles down. He cares deeply for his pack, and the people who know the truth, but he hates the royal family, except Liselle.

Liselle is the queen and Ivy's mother. She is very secretive when it comes to the past and the ones she loves. She was once the lover of Mary's long lost son, Andrew. She doesn't open up to Ivy because she believes she's too young to understand most things.

The king is a very kind, trusting, and forgiving man. The kingdom loves him because he gives a second chance if he truly believes you deserve it. He has kept the kingdom safe and under control. There hasn't been chaos since his father was ruling. He loves his family, all of them. The servants to him are family also.

Mary is the number one servant. She is Ivy's godmother. She too, has a dark secretive past. She tells people about it, but in a way they'd have to be paying close attention. Mary is very intellectual, nothing slips past her. Her son Andrew never came back and only Liselle knows why. Mary feels some resentment towards her even though she'll say otherwise.
