Amina is just one of the billions of people who were affected by the worldwide catastrophe. She lives with her two younger siblings, Skyler and Trace, and has made a vow to protect them no matter what. Her parents died because of the accident, and she doesn't know if her older sister is alive anymore. Amina is one of the few Interfectors in District 27 and makes sure that the area she lives in is safe not only for her siblings and partners, but for the rest of the District 27 residents as well as the entire population for the city of Murus.

Conrad is just one of Amina's partners in District 27's Interfector squad. He is cunning, strong, careful and kind, but is downright ruthless when fighting against the zombies. He is an adequate shooter, though not as good as a marksman as Lex. He is also the son of Xander.

He is the oldest member of District 27's Interfector squad and is also the leader. He is wise, fatherly, and is very strict when doing his duty, though also very lenient at times. He picked up his old smoking habits when the zombie outbreak began and hopes to die from lung cancer rather than by the bite of a monster. He is the proud father of Conrad.

Brina has a dark past. Her parents were abusive, and when the outbreak occurred, they tried to feed her to the zombies so they could escape. Seeing the zombies reminds her of that frightening night and no one hates them more than she does. She will kill any and every zombie that she sees, even if it should be someone she loves. She is another of Amina's partners in the Interfector squad.

Lex is the last person that makes up District 27's Interfector squad. He is an incredible marksman and is also a sniper. He is very protective of his teammates and will do anything to save them. He kills zombies because he feels it is his civic duty to help protect the residents of the district.
