  • Benjamin Micheal Mira

    Benjamin Micheal Mira

    Gender:
    Male
    Age:
    37
    Orientation:
    Straight

Marital status: Widower | | Family: Two sons, Denver and Dakota | | Village: Mesa | | Looks: With his short, brown hair and dark eyes, Ben Mira was the poster-person for the town of Mesa. His humble hight (5 feet, 5 inches) and thin frame allowed him to blend in with the rest of the Garrosian populace. The major characteristic that was distinctive of the Mira family was their skin. They had oddly pale skin that became even more apparent when summer cane and the rest of the country tanned. | | Past: Ben Mira was born and raised in the small town of Mesa. He was the only child of Micheal and Georgia Mira. Micheal Mira owned the small grocery store in the heart of the town, and Georgia was a seamstress and part time teacher. Micheal disappeared when Ben was 4 years old and Georgia died of an unknown disease when he was 13. For the next five years, he lived with a neighboring family, the Collins', who also took over his father's store. When Ben was 19 he met the live if his life, Mary Forst. It was not much of a wedding, because the Destruction trampled across the land during the ceremony, but Ben and Mary were not fazed. They lived a happy life together for 9 years. They had two children, the oldest Dakota, and the youngest Denver. ("I've always loved 'D' names," Mary would croon when introducing her boys.) When Denver was only 18 months old, the Mira family suffered a tragic loss. Mary's body was found dead in the middle of the forest. (The townspeople were unable to determine the cause of death. There were no wounds on her skin or signs of poison.) After that day, Ben had been mourning the premature loss of his wife. Over the following ten years, Ben quietly tended to his shop. He grew ever distant from his sons, and the rest of the tiny community of Mesa. | | Personality: Ben Mira was a bright man, with strong opinions, and a flambouant personality. However, after the untimely death of his wife, his demeanor became more subdued and he began to walk around in an ever-present stupor of grief. He grew to be very introverted and even border-line anti-social. When he spoke, his voice was soft and neutral, though his words could be happy, sad, or angry. His strong opinions withheld, but were not so apparent to strangers. The only time his voice changed, was when his active temper was provoked.

  • Dakota Mira

    Dakota Mira

    Gender:
    Male
    Age:
    17
    Orientation:
    Straight

Relationship status: Single | | Family: Father, Ben Mira, and younger brother, Denver Mira | | Hometown: Mesa | | Looks: Dakota Mira had been told by many people that he was the spitting image of his mother, Mary. His straight, black hair and pale skin drew attention to him every where he went. He inherited his grandfather's (on his father's side) watery green eyes and his father's slim build. He was taller than most of the citizens of Mesa, something he supposedly got from his mother as well. At 5 feet, 11 inches, he was one of the tallest people in the region, something Dakota dispised. | | Past: Dakota was only 8 years old when his mother died. He appreciated his father's effort in raising him, and for the most part, he thought his father did well, but Dakota always felt that a little piece of him needed a mother, something his father couldn't do anything about. He grew up in his father's little shop, always being told he would run it some day. Dakota, however, was what the neighbors called a "free spirit." He wanted to leave Mesa someday, and he told everyone so. The townspeople told him that it was dangerous to leave the town, that only they could protect him from the destruction. He listened, but vowed one day to find a place for himself on Garros, and was convinced that place wasn't in Mesa. | | Personality: Dakota Mira was a natural introvert. He reported to school everyday, and worked quietly in his father's shop every afternoon. He did an average job in school, and had a few friends, but spent a lot of time wandering around the woods near his home. He had inherited his father's temper, but it was not as controlled as Ben's.
