Alba's father (still human) has no idea what happened to her and she plans on keeping it that way. She's shy around people and tends to be overly protective of her daughter.

He was fatally stabbed that night and just before his heart gave out a guy finds him and takes him home. When Jimmy came to he was changed. Even though the urge to kill was strong, his will to be good was stronger and when not hunting to survive he hunted to protect helpless victims like he once was. One girl he saved effected him the most and he decided to stick around and watch over her as she grew. Little did he know she didn't need his protection much.

He shot himself in the head but missed his brain stem by an inch. A young delivery boy found him and healed him, making something more than human. Years go by and Aaron has a family once again. He loves them all and would do anything for them. But when doing something for a member of his family means giving up his only love what's there to do?

Cassie is as goth as you can get. She loves horror fiction (especially Edgar Allan Poe) to death. She's best friends with Clear and has been since kindergarten. She hates a lot of people at her school, especially the bullies. After a night of sweet revenge her life and Clear's life is forever altered. When a new guy shows up in town with his weird but insanely cool looking family she thinks nothing of it until, of course, she see's a goth boy who won't stop smirking at her.

Clear has never known her mother. The only thing she knows about her is that she died in childbirth. Her grandparents refused to speak of her and it feels like they're keeping something else from her. She wishes she could live with her uncle Reno, at least he didn't drive her insane. She spends countless hours at her friend Cassie's house and sometimes even nights. She and Cassie are bullied constantly until one day her blood begins to boil and a plan so devious and sinister enters her mind. A stranger appears in town soon after who may hold answers as to who or what Clear really is and why she suddenly hungers for blood. (BTW: Picture her with black hair).
