She has a keen eye for observation and has picked up on her parent's rocky relationship. She misses her big sister and wants nothing more than for them to be close again.

Karen is the mother of Luke, Finn, Rhys, and Gracie Savage and the "adoptive" mother of Caroline. Her husband Mark passed away in 2007 and she has since made it a point to play the part of both parents to her children. Mama Savage is a doting, loving, and supportive mother. She took Caroline in and gave her a place to live in February of 2006 when she got kicked out of her parents house after a particularly bad fight with her mom. Mama Savage is very much the mother role in Caroline's life.

Luke's 21-year-old identical twin brother - Where Luke lacks a filter and common sense isn't his strongest trait, Finn is the exact opposite. He is extremely smart and driven, but knows how to have fun. Although he and Luke get along quite well and pick on each other in good taste, Finn can probably be described as the better twin. He's both sassy and sweet and knows when to turn off his obnoxiousness. He and his brothers and younger sister are very close and he looks to Caroline as a big sister role model and loves her as if she was family.

Luke's 16-year-old brother - Although Rhys is an intelligent, athletic, and good-looking kid, he sort of floats to the back burner in a lot of instances. He is the quietest of the boys and is very close with his mom. Rhys and Caroline have a very solid big sister/little brother relationship despite not actually being family.
