Helena was so sure of her life, of what she wanted to do. Her whole life she'd swooned over Broadway shows, and sang as much as she possibly could. In high school, she got most of the solos in choir and did many musicals around the community. To most, she appeared to be a down to earth girl who had her head in the books, as well as in the sheet music. But around her high school best friend, Edgar (or Eddie as she called him) things were a different story. Her bad side often came out, and they played pranks together. Sadly, when she got her acceptance letter into NYU and he got his to an art school in Jersey, they went separate ways. She's currently in her senior year at NYU,, and is in the cast of Les Miserables.

Edgar was known in high school to be the kid who sang better than most people, and drew all the time. Only his closest friends, like Helena, knew he could sing however. He often wore band shirts and army jackets, and occasionally wore eyeliner. He constantly dyed his hair, and that continued even after high school. His dream and passion was art, though Helena constantly told him to go after music. He loved to paint most of all, but also enjoyed music. He just liked to express himself. When he got accepted into an art school, he felt like all his dreams were coming true. but it would bring him and his best friend apart. She was his muse.

Professor strait went through years of drug abuse and alcoholism before he learned what he was good at. Art. Painting, drawing, it helped him clear his head. He's a teacher at the Academy Of Art University. His favorite student is Edgar, and he's one of Edgar's biggest influences. He can be quite tough, and outspoken. but he always has a purpose for his madness. He's also married to a man, who helped him get out of his drug addiction and get more into art.

Elizabeth Riley (Mrs. Riley)

Mrs. Riley is a vocal instructor at NYU. Helena's favorite teacher is her. Elizabeth played roles like Fantine in Les Mis, and even Maureen in a version of RENT before deciding to become a vocal coach, after she had a daughter. Her family is her world, but so is music.

John met Helena while in a lecture for music appreciation. They hit it off, and became best friends. They did shows together, and often spent late hours studying together. For the most part, they shared the same interested. However, John loved to play his guitar and helena couldn't really play any instrument. Sometimes he worries about her, because she spends a lot of time in rehearsals, or studying rather than having a social life. He's single, but Helena often encourages him to go after girls.
