Marie, mostly called Alice, has the same characteristics of Damon's mother and at first, this makes Damon distance himself from her because she awakens surpressed memories. Damon grows to love her like he loves Sharisse and more. He struggles to truly express his feelings and Alice is completely oblivious towards his feelings.
