She has never been to Kentucky or even met her grandmother before. When she meets Gabe she gets an odd feel of him but can't help but also find him attractive.

Gabe works for Audrey's grandmother as a farm hand and is very protective of the old woman because he feels indebted to her. He comes off as being shady and is therefore not your typical country boy. Audrey gets a weird sense whenever she is near him but also find him attractive. Gabe rides a motorcycle and hates cowboy hats.
