Lucas Hades is a demon, he works for Garrett Jones. He hates all humans, but Garrett because he promised to help him with taking over hell by making an army of hybrids. He is the oldest demon alive and no one really knows his age. His eyes are pure black.

Talon Cross is a vampire, he works for Garrett Jones. He comes off as cold hearted and distant; he loves the hunt. He finds himself drawn to Katherine after tasting her blood; it’s like a drug drawing him in. After he finds out she’s gone he is determined to get her back no matter the cost.

Zane Xavier was attack one night walking home from work; he is now a rouge werewolf. He doesn’t trust easily especially since his family kicked him out once they found out about him. He catches the scent of his maker wanting to kill him but finds out it is Katherine. There is something different about Katherine that interreges him.

Garrett Jones wants power; he is willing to do anything to get just that. He is very abusive towards his daughter Katherine. He blames her for her mother’s death even though it was a vampire attack. That is when he got the idea of making hybrids to get power. He also blames her for driving away Johnny and his mother.

Abby is a perky, fun energetic 16 year old teen who loves life! She lives with her parents and younger sister in their 5 bedroom apartment in the middle of town. Her passions include dancing and painting and she helps out the elementary school by help teaching the Kindergarteners. Abby is very supportive and her best friend Kat, and often lets her stay over at her house in their spare guest room. At first Abby doesn't believe that Kat has powers, but you can't ignore the facts.

Kat is someone who just wants to survive another day. Ever since her older brother and mom left, her Dad has been nothing but abusive and mean. If it wasn't for her best friend Abby, Kat would be dead by now. Kat develops powers later in the story and she struggles with good and evil. The people who turned her into a "weapon" were evil men and she has their blood going through her. And if you thought that was bad, well in comes her older brother Jonny, who she hasn't seen in years. Mix that all together and you get 3 words: oh my gosh.

Zoey is a sweet, perky 10 year old. She is wiser beyond her years, always giving people information and advice. She is in grade 6 (she got to skip 2 grades because of how advanced she was) and even though she has been blind since the age of 4, nothing stops her.
