She is about 15 minutes older than her twin brother Jacob, who she calls Jakie. He's the only one willing to call her Kimber, and he's her buffer. No matter what they do, they're there for one another. What are twins for? When they move to Atlanta, she cuts and dyes her hair the night before the start of school, much to her mother's dismay. She's recently come into a sense of attraction to females, and in an extremely homophobic family, she doesn't know what to do.

Jacob is the second born and oldest male of Theresa and Andrew Williams. He is the buffer between Kimber, or Kimmy as he calls her, and their family. He's always there for her, and she's always there for him. They're twins, it's what they do. He has a strong, sexual prowess for lack of better words. He has hooked up with a girl, and Kimmy is the only family member who knows, and she holds it over him sometimes.
