Karin is my favorite character and also the main MAIN character. She is a demon that shares a soul of a wolf, but that's not mentioned a lot because she mostly relies on her demonic blood and soul to get things done. She is very important to the Council of Yokai, but hates being told what to do. Karin likes being in charge. She has very skilled in killing demons and does it for a living. It made her wealthy and well known in her world, but the scattered human souls that have made it to the World of Two Souls hate her and call her a monster. It has caused her to be a recluse and ignore everyone around her, until she gets this undesired bodyguard, Chiharu. Every demon has an element they can control, Karin's element is water. She can freeze it, heat it, move it, anything you can imagine. Karin is the reincarnation of an evil demon named Suzuki. Her parents realized she was the reincarnation when they saw her white hair when she was born. They left her to be raised by an old human woman. The woman died when Karin was seven and Karin raised herself from then on. She trained and trained and grew stronger and started to kill demons for money and was very successful, leading to the Council of Yokai seeking her out and making her their assassin. They gave her a house in the style of her choosing, and now she must do everything they say. Karin is very determined, but her overthinking often leads her to making a lot of social mistakes. Chiharu helps her get through this after a while. Then she becomes very friendly and learns how to be a real lady in power.
