I really loved it. You're amazing. The emotions conveyed through the characters really stood out in this piece of amazingness. I love how John warms up to the idea of being a father slowly, overcoming his fears and staying with Kay all the way. If there was any award of any sorts for John Ohh stories, I'll give you my vote ♥
I thought the ending was, well, perfect for the story. <3 It summed everything up like John and Kay finally having their family. And Elaine actually being okay with the two raising Corrine together.
Plus the comment about Alex "liking them young" made me crack up.
Absolutely wonderful ending to an absolutely wonderful story.
You rounded it all off so well, tying everything up and everything just made complete sense, which was good.
It's nice to see that Kay was alright about going on tour with the band in the end, and how Corrine is happy with watching her four uncles onstage :tehe:
I couldn't help but smile at this line: there were a few broken hearts on the side of the girls who had been expecting marriage proposals from John. You got that in one, Nina, because there really are people like that! :tehe:
I loved how you described them as being the perfect family too. Your writing is so versatile - you can write gooey happy stuff and dark sinister stuff so well!
The bit with Elaine at the end was really sweet too, and I'm glad she was so accepting about everything.
Oh, and by the way. The very last word of that part summarised what I thought of the story very well. :arms:
I'm really sad this is over, but you rounded it off really nicely. Everything fell into place for them and the bit at the end with Elaine's acceptance was really lovely, and written so beautifully.
And I liked the comedy added into it - "Now I knew you liked them young Alex, but this is steep even for you," Zack said with a wide grin, causing everybody around them to burst into pleas of laughter.
You've done amazing with every single part of this. I've loved it.
I laughed out loud at Pat becoming a clean freak. I can really imagine that. But I'm sad the next is the last, at the same time I'm excited to read the ending.
"Clean it," Kay demanded in a way that left no room for protests. You can tell she's going to mother those boys :)
The whole pizza thing shone a little more light on a dark atmosphere, and it was funny. It's also quite believable that their van would be a total pig stye, and you can't help but agree with Kay that it's disgusting, even if she will give Pat OCD.
I have loved this, and I can't believe the next one is the last one.
You make me sad when you say you're gonna leave. I think you're absolutely amazing. :arms:
It wasn't a shit update promise, and if you need to talk then feel free to send me a message or come on msn. :arms:
I love how all Kay can see is the dirt and mould in the van, whereas all the boys think it's tidy :lmfao
It made me giggle about the pizza. :tehe: You're awesome at writing stuff like that, to tell the truth. You write all the funny scenes so naturally (actually, all your writing is pretty natural to tell the truth).
John is an absolute sweetheart and it's awesome how he's so understanding about everything.
I loved this update. It was all sweet and fussy and cute! :XD
Its so sad that John has to practically drag Kay out of the house in order to get her to come out. It's like she's happy in this comfort zone and now he's dragging her away.
And then he gets straight on with it! Hell yeah. :tehe John cupped her face in his hands and crashed his lips down onto hers. Nice description!
John's also such a sweetheart for taking her out on tour with them. It's like he's making up for these lost years by taking her along, so they won't be apart again. It's cute and significant.
And perhaps now, Kay can step out of Elaines shadow.
AND THE DECISION IS, IS THAT SHE WANTS JOHN AT LONG LAST! Please? :) I like how it started off very doom and gloomy, and now it's lightened up a little. Garrett's part made me smile. And at least John and Kay are finally getting somewhere. The way you described Kay and Elaine as being in a kind of race with each other to get something or to achieve is something that seems very true within the story, and at the same time it happens with siblings anyway. Your stories are always realistic, Nina, and this one is no exception. And I would love a happy ending, please, thankyou :cute:
I absolutely adore this story. You truly are an amazing writer with the way you can show the emotions Kay and John are feeling about him leaving for tour, but at the same time lightening the mood with Kennedy, Pat, Jared and Garret’s antics. Subscribing!
Oh, goodness. This is so amazing. You can't stop writing. You're crazy good. And I love this to death. I cannot wait for an update. This is so good, you have no idea.
