“Devi I really wish you would get out more, get off that computer of yours,” my mum said as she was eating her dinner. She always says this, saying I should spend time outside and hang with my mates. Now don’t get me wrong, I have many friends, we usually go out on the weekend, but when I’m not with them I’m talking to my friends on mibba. I swear old people just don’t understand how much there actually is to do on the internet.

I can really relate to that part in the first chapter... :P I love this story, your a good writer.

My mum was a work alcoholic, ever since dad died. I think she works so much to keep herself distracted from the real world. I got up, quickly shut my curtains to prevent the stupid sun from coming through and crawled back under my blanket and fell asleep immediately.

Are you sure you don't mean 'Workaholic?' Because 'Work alcoholic' makes me think she gets drunk at work. I don't know.
