Okay I just read this story for the first time ever and I feel so strongly about it that I wrote an entire goddamn blog post about it because I felt like no comment I left on this story would ever do it the complete justice it deserves. Please don't ever stop writing. Ever.

I don't know if it's sad but I'm literally bawling. I'm not kidding. Bawling. This story was so beautiful and my favourite, ever. I love how the ending wasn't some traditional "happily ever after" but they're both content and they both feel okay and they know they're with each other even if they're not. I'm really sad to see this story go and I'll definitely read it again and again and again in the future to remind myself that writers like you exist. And another thing that makes this story so wonderful is that this *could* have happened. Just everything about Pete and Sarah's romance (Or is it Sara? I don't feel like looking back now). The rise and fall of their romance and the events that took place between the points in time between I Don't Know You At All and I Know Too Much. The thing is, it probably did happen. Definitely not under these circumstances, but Pete probably DID fall in love with a girl however long ago and he probably still loves her, but it had the same (probably less romantic) ending as this. Not happy, but not miserable because they both needed to move on.
Just the reality of it all and the perfection and the execution of the memory and feeling and imagination. I'll miss this story.

I'm so sad that this is over! I enjoyed the ending though, even if it was sad. I'm glad that the very last bit was in Pete's POV. Wonderful job on this story! I loved it so much!

My heart has been shattered into a million pieces.
My heart split in two when Sarah called her mom. And Pete seeking comfort and reassurance in Bronx was a better look into Pete's thoughts than the ending POV.
Which, by the way, COMPLETELY BROKE MY HEART. The fact that he carried around the lighter she left behind just killed me.
The emotional masochist within me is rubbing its hands together sadistically.
I hope you're pleased with yourself.
But, in all honesty, it was totally amazing and well worth the wait. You should be proud of this story. It has truly come a long way.

I love this story so much! It was such a surprise when I got the email saying you'd updated, I thought this was destined to remain unfinished! I'm so glad I was wrong, great chapter! I can't wait for the next one, even though it is the last!

When I saw that this had been updated, I was so surprised, but so happy! This is definitely one of my favorite stories on Mibba. I feel so bad for Sarah and I hope things get better for her. Though I'll be sad when this ends, I can't wait to see how it does end. Great update :]
