Why would you be skeptical of that chapter? I thought it was very productive and well-done. I liked their little night out, watching the sky together. Quite nice. How very fortunate for Katherine that she has family to rely on with such a young daughter! I was O_O when Pete called her out at the show, though. I'm surprised she didn't give him hell for it!

Great update. I kinda wish Pete would've said something to Brian, but I guess it's not his place. Katherine really needs to break those chains that Brian has on her. I'm looking forward to some sweet revenge.

OH NOES! Katherine's played with fire one too many times, me thinks. (Sorry, Pirates last night.) I wish Pete had seen them...somehow. Of course, then he would've saved the day. And DAMN Brian's a psycho!!

Oh man. I like that Katherine's background is coming out in this chapter. But now that I know she's ALREADY a mom, I have to agree with her dad. I mean, I'm all for a single mom still being a woman and all, but she should've at least called her dad if he was taking care of Amity. (GREAT name, btw.)

I THINK I know where this is leading. And if I'm right, Katherine's got ISSUES. I hope she doesn't get into too much trouble.

I loved the use of the visuals. I could already "see" the scene because you did such a good job describing it. But the images of the characters and of the apartment were perfect.

Katherine is so cute and sassy. And I think you really captured the instant attraction between her and Pete very well.

I'm not sure where you're going with this, but I'm totally into them as a couple.

Oh, and the sex scene? MAJOR RAWR. ;;P
