Ok, so that was one of those moments where you listen to a sad song and just cry.
Even if you know it's not real, you still cry, because it was beatutiful and it felt like it was real.
This story was absolutley amazing.

Nick's speech was really great and I can't believe that HE BEAT JOE UP?!

Shit! I cried.
I love crying, but I really like happy endings, and this wasn't a happy ending. I knew she wasn't going to get better, but I still hadn't accepted that she was going to die.
Nonetheless, this was a fantastic story. You're are an amazing writer and I wish you the best with everything you do. Keep it up.

fabulous. the only thing i want to know is what ever happened between emma and nick. how did she take the whole her boyfriend leaving her for her best friend/ her bestfriend dying?

This was really an amazing story
Your writing was excellent and consistent through the story, and the plot line was brilliant. You gave a lot of emotion when it came to your characters and it was obvious that you actually cared about the quality of your work. And for that, it came out fantastic.
I did cry, at the end. Not going to lie haha.
The only criticism I have, and this is just a hiccup, is that the time line for this story was a bit weird. Sometimes single events, like the sleepover, would take 3 or 4 chapters and other times weeks would go by between two chapters. I realize thats necessary to fully explain and play out a situation, but for me, it was slightly confusing to keep track.
But over all, it was an amazing, AMAZING, story. I'm sad to see it go but I'm excited to see where you take your other stories. =]

i was tearing up at nick's speech. MORE SADNESS.
and then when nick started hitting joe, but joe didn't stop him because he knew he had to let him... i kinda wanted to cryyyy. =\
and then holy frickin' crap, black keys! and they just played and sang, and then nick was like he would see the world for her...
all in all, it was pretty much a load of amazingness, just like this whole storyy.

so i searched it on youtube and heard it while reading and man, it made me cry like crazy.

Gosh, the epilogue was so sad! I was crying right off the bat, knowing that Maxie died and Nick was all mopey and emotionless and such. How could you make us all sad like that?
Oh my God, and Nick's speech at the funeral just broke me, I started crying right when I stopped, and thought it would be okay. omgno: When he was pretty much beating up Joe, I felt so terrible, but I knew Joe was getting through to Nick so I was all, "Nick, don't hit too hard, he hurts too."
The ending where Nick's thinking on how he would do everything for the both of them was just... oh man, that really made me feel like a waterfall of tears. That, my friend, was my favorite part of the story, the last two or three sentences.
I think my least favorite was when Nick's trashing his room, simply because it made me feel so sad for Nick. It was beautifully written... just mighty depressing.
