:'D Thank you so much!!! This is my ultimate favorite thing I've ever written- I'm from New Orleans, and I always wanted to incorporate my hometown into a Frerard, and this just sort of... happened!!! I'm so so so happy that you liked it. I am trying to write a sequel to it, I am dying to, but... the pressure is definitely on, it's been years since I wrote this, but the follow-up is definitely necessary and I'll be writing that up... hopefully soon.

Have you read my oneshot Like a Prayer yet? Re-ow, it's my only sacriligious fic, and... it's definitely super smutty. XD

    Holy mother of wow

This was amazing like, I had to stop doing everything to read this, even breathe at some parts.

I loved how you didn't rush straight into their relationship, even at the start they kept postponing their first kiss and that was all very awkward and adorable and perfect. Wow.

The smut, your smut, (you're like the Queen of Smut or something seriously) I already knew you could write smut flawlessly, but this just took it to a whole new level of hot and talent.

Once again, you've blown my mind.<3

First of all can I say its so refreshing to read a really AU story for once, it removes all the clichés with one hit, but it needs a seriously talented writer to pull it off, and you did! Plus I’m very impressed by your own knowledge of flying, that must have taken some work to accumulate!

For some reason I loved this moment He had given Frank the list he had promised him; however, that list only consisted of one name.

    Gerard Way, CFI
Ah it real set the pace and tone for the story, even though I was already so damn excited about reading it.

“To New Orleans, to eat some beignets,” So glad Frank later explained what these were I was so confused before and felt stupid, even though you guys had been discussing it on the FF. Oh and this story also really makes me want to go to New Orleans, particularly the ‘gay’ side of Bourbon Street. Does this mean you’ve been there yourself? :tehe:

This story was also so damn sweet, just like the beignets, I really loved those moments. Such as “You’ve got sugar all over you,”… I so knew what was coming after that! But I loved it all the same.

Finally, “You’re the one who taught me how to fly, Frank,” Favorite and amazing line! Really summed up the entire story, I loved all the flying metaphors and references, they held the story together so beautifully.
Oh and by the way, is it wrong I laughed at the word cockpit? Probably :cute: Anyway, love this story, love you Lizzy! In Love

I was soooo absorbed in all of that. Soooo absorbed.

I loved the development of the relationship, because it wasnt just slutty, I like that they were friends first. Especially how Frank didnt even know Gerard was gay and he became attracted to him and then that he liked men just sweetned the deal. Like...gay men have a tendency to jump into bed really quickly. If they are both attracted to each other, and both know the other is gay its pretty much ON. Hahaha but you let a real friendship development then brought about emotions in your characters. It was lovely.

I also liked this a lot because I have always had a thing for flying and planes. Did I ever tell you that I used to want to be a pilot? I loveee everything about flying so it was awesome reading something that was centered around this theme. You described the sensation of it really well too, and I could defintiely understand Gerard when he was speaking about how it was his escape. That was lovely and so so understandble. What a wonderful passion they both had.

I really enjoyed this Lizzy, I enjoyed it a lot and I am so glad that I took the time to read it. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story <3

    OH MY GOSH!
    This story left me breathless.
Every movement that was written to perfect detail just capture my heart.
You are absolutely the most perfect author I have got a chance to read.
    I loved it so much.
The details down to the places they saw and their emotions was captivating.
    I simply couldn't not stop myself from reading. My eyes just wouldn't look any other places but the story until it was fully read. I couldn't help but smile at the sweet words an actions that were exchanged, and at points I couldn't stop myself from blushing. :}
To put it simply, it was beautifully written.
You did an amazing job. I loved it.

“One day, promise me you’ll come back here with me,” he said, brushing his fingers lightly over Frank’s face once again. “And you’ll bring your guitar, and I’ll bring all of my art stuff, and we will sit right here, on this curb that we are standing on, and I will draw this fucking church, and you will play guitar for me, all day long.”

That was my favorite part, in all honesty. The whole kitten caboodle was wonderful, I had so much faith that you would create the single best, two chapter story about flying. Well, really, the best story about flying in general, but I felt the need to excite myself with the whole two chapters again. That way, it's like when you have to wait a really long time for someone to update their story, and then the second chapter gets posted and you just SCREAM! That's how I was. You posted both at the same time, but the fact that it continued and wasn't all just there in front of my eyes at one time was really wonderful to me.

Oh, and reading this, the second chapter about half way through, I knew that I had to mention the song that was on my iTunes whilst I read. No, it wasn't The Bad Touch by Bloodhound Gang, but it was Tony the Beat by The Sounds. You know, Maja from Cobra's 'Snakes on a Plane' music video? The lyrics are: Wow.. really long... Here's a link P: Tony the Beat - The Sounds Isn't that just so wonderful?

    Back on topic...
The beignet scene was another one of my favorites. It was something that I made a connection with, because whenever I have French toast or powdered sugar doughnuts, I'll have powdered sugar all over my face. It's like, "Do I have sugar on my face?" But you made it your own thing, you own franking adorable thing, and turned it into their first, wonderfully sweet and delicious kiss. It was something that you kind of saw coming, but then you just had to squeal when you actually read it. It kind of broke all of the laws and just surprised you when you weren't supposed to be surprised. It was great <3

The way that the two of them are just so blatant about their romantic interest in the other, but neither of them see it but kind of suspect it... It starts out with this just, presumably always friendly guy that's scheduled to teach this gorgeous boy how to fly, they have coffee and talk for what turns out being forever. When the lessons really start, Frank discovers that Pete was never someone that made him fly. The only one that could ever be capable of doing such a thing to him, was the man that would make him fly in a literal, emotional, physical, and mental sense. And that's what Pete wanted Frank to find -- Someone that really met all of the viewpoints of making him fly.

Gerard was kind of like a guardian angel, that knew what was going to happen, but still continued to live on Earth with this boy because of the love they had for each other. Gerard truly made Frank fly, but Frank was the one that taught him how to fly to begin with.

And this brings me back to Mayday Parade's Miserable at Best. The one thing I would never get out of my head, was I miss the lips that made me fly...

I think that's about it... I'm not sure. I'll probably edit this about 10 times later on. I'll make an edit tally chart starting the first time I edit it. Wonderful story, wonderful plot line, wonderful characters, wonderful author, etcetera etcetera.

Love you and your stories <33
    - Maggie :]

I really am shit when it comes to...um, reviewing, stories.

You did such a beautiful job, and all the words flowed together. I really wish I could write like that, you've got talent.

My parents kept interrupting me while I was reading this, so I kept giving them death glares, hoping they'd get the memo. They did. ;)

All I can really say is; Amazing.
