I'm just letting you know that you are writing this in first person and third person at the same time. You put everyones thoughts in there (like you would do in third person), but instead of putting Kimina you put "I" which confuses me. We aren't really supposed to hear the others' thoughts unless Kimina is a mind reader.
Other than that...I really love this chapter! I loved how you described things! :] Keep up the good work.
