Great chapter! The convos between Jocelyn and Tia and then Sid and Max were really interesting. It was good to see everyone's different views on things. And coming from a French Canadian background, my grandmother used to sing to me in French when I was tiny and that part at the end there with Max just made me all warm and fuzzy inside and brought back a lot of fond memories.
wow wow wow! That was intense senorita! I sure hope brooklyn thinks about what tia told her, though to be honest, i never saw that coming from sweet little tia! I'm so glad that the truth came our and now her and kris can have little tangers...i hope! Seriously...i have a problem and it involves a certain boy named kristopher, whom i just love. This story's not even about him! haha. But i really do hope that brooks and max work things out for real!
wow, what an awesome update!!! tia damn girl, get your act together!! i feel bad about her parents, but really?? don't take it out on max and brooklyn!! :(
I had sent this message before and for some reason, the site messed up and I noticed it didn't post. If it did and this shows up a second time, I'm sorry! Okay, so I'm prob not going to be the most popular person for saying this, but I can see where Tia is coming from. She knows first hand the pain that a nasty ass split between parents can cause children, and she's obviously got some unresolved issues surrounding that and she doesn't want the kids to end up the same way. I have friends who are in their early thirties that are still dealing with the emotional scars of a nasty split between their parents caused them. If it was a friendly, amicable deal, that's one thing. But when there's all this animosity and what not...that causes some life long scars! And can cause your own issues with your own relationships. Now that I sound like Doctor Phil...
Kris was a sweetheart for dealing with her the way he did. Loving and understanding and patient is definitely the way to go! And he was great!
And thinking of Max and Brooklyn....there's a part in the song that you used for your story title that says (and I am paraphrasing a bit) "Everyone stumbles sometime, but still needs a hand to hold." I just thought that part of the song was fitting right about now!
I definitely did not expect Tia to go all crazy on Brooklyn that was a big surprise for me calling her a bitch in her own home...wow.
Tia does have a point though divorce can be really hard on the kids. I really liked how this chapter revealed so much of Tia and her reason for why she doesn't want any kids. Kris was sweet understanding Tia's reasoning but still wanting to have kids with her.
So now I'm done reading all your updates. When I saw you updated 3 times it made me so happy!
Oh Kris Letang...I'll have your babies. Just saying. And woah Tia, a little harsh there...I understand why she feels that way but that was kind of rude. More soon. :]
Tia. What. The. Fuck. I understand where she's coming from, since my parents were divorced when I was a baby too, but damn. She was a bit harsh. I mean, Max did cheat. Woooow.
Awesome update! I was shocked with Tia's outburst, but it was cool seeing it from her point of view, and what divorce actually does to the kids...my parents are actually divorced so i know where that fear comes from, but i'll stop rambling, and say awesome chapter again ! : )
