    Pinocchio

    My favorite lines:

My words come out funny and I hope he thinks I’m drunk. But he doesn’t. ‘Cause he knows better. They always know better. I always know worse.

But Pinocchio was a real boy at the end.

I like the italics and that it was just a word, or a short sentence.
    I like Ryan's apathy {?} in this.

    My favorite lines:

“I’m fine.” Ryan said, voice flat. “I wasn’t doing anything. I was just practicing.”
    “Practicing what?” Brendon asked.
    “Dying.”

    ...almost screamed. Almost. Not quite.

“People don’t practice dying.” Brendon said, voice tight, words short, eyes overly bright.

I love the perspective of this story. I could see how Brendon and Ryan were feeling, not just one of them. The plot made sense and the tense was perfect.

It wasn't too long, but it wasn't too short. You portrayed it perfectly.

This was morbidly beautiful, like in a twisted way. I just wanted to get in their heads and figure things out, like a brain sort.

    Amazing job. <333

I like the way that you portray Ryan in these

It's like he craves attention, but the doesn't want it.

    I really like it...

    Little Boy Lose.

    Oh my fuck.
I loved how each paragraph was a completely different scene.

And the Ryan. Bullet. ending was harsh and effective.

I leave the rest of the moments up to your interpretation.
It's just one of those pieces where there's no certain way it needs to be read.
    Okay, good to know.
I sometimes like when thing can be read like that so people can emotionally embrace it more.

In Little Boy Lost, Ryan did shoot himself.

    The Amateur Photographer

This one left me slightly confused, but at the same time not. I think I got what is being said, but the fact that I couldn't quite figure it out made it that much better.
I liked how you described what Ryan and Brendon are for each other.

    My favorite lines:

It was like when an amateur photographer picked up their shitty off-brand camera and took a snapshot that happened to be a beautiful, priceless, classic photograph. Black and white, clean lines, emotion captured on the 35 mm film.

It was easy to see, if you tried, that they weren’t meant to be apart.

    Ryan wasn’t complete without Brendon.
    Brendon wasn’t himself without Ryan.

A glimpse into a secret can leave you speechless, stop you in your tracks, make you stare in wonderment, make you try and find words for what it really, truly, honestly is.

Nothing ever destroyed wonder like proof.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

    Little Boy Lost

I liked this. I liked the little moments between Ryan and each person.
But the ending makes me think Ryan shot himself, which makes me wonder if all those moments were Ryan testing his limits, seeing if anyone would stop him, try to bring him back. Save him.

    My favorite lines:

....hands outstretched in case of an untied shoelace.

....bottle in one hand and empty wishes in the other.

    Tape

I'm guessing it's metaphorical tape, but I could be wrong.
I really liked the opening line.

    My favorite lines:

There were no drawers in the dressers, no clothes in the drawers.

“Well, of course you put the tape on with kisses, silly. How else do you put tape on?”
