Poor, poor, poor Autumn - first the press gang, then her fan girl moment. I thought she handled it just right on the press by the way. And she has to report the ex a**hole for his use of oxycontin... because of the patients. And words fail me at his giving the press details of Ryan and her address. She has to make a complaint to the hospital about all of these things. She needs to speak to Gwen, if nothing else.

And isn't the 17-year old a statutory offense in some states? Just a thought (I don't like that character) and as for coming to her senses after he behaved the way he did uh...come again...? Delusional? Much?

It may be a short chapter but I think it will prove to be pivotal - Autumn's almost in a transition - now she's met Sid's Pittsburgh "Dad" and essentially been accepted, now TPTB at the Pens know about her,

It was fab - now onwards and upwards!

And yeah, I bet Sid's going to have to get the Press office at the Pens to have a talk with Autumn about how to handle the rat pack. And Mario introducing her to Natalie will only help...

That was great to see Sid actually worried about everything. Normally, you'd think that he'd be the one trying to calm Autumn down, and it was nice to see their roles reversed.

And, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's reactions when they find out that Sydney has Down's Syndrome. I hope that everyone is accepting, but we both know that it's not going to go that way. There will be that one person that doesn't care and love the child like they should (as wrong as that is).

And, just to warn you, so you don't get banned....when you get time, you might want to go back through your chapters and move the statements like "Chapter title courtesy of ___" and "Thanks to ____ for inspiring me" down into the author's note area. The "Future Chapter" part is okay, but they're starting to enforce the rules, and you're not supposed to post author's notes as chapters (even though yours isn't a whole chapter by itself, it's better to be safe then sorry).

I love this story, and the flip between present and past is amazing. I can't wait for more.

I like how you go back and forth between the present and the future, giving us just enough of the future to tease us and then going into a couple of present chapters.

Autumn seems like the perfect girl for Sid. She definitely compliments his personality.

The interaction between Sid and Ryan when Autumn first brings Sid home is cute too. Of course, that would be pretty sweet if your mom was dating Sidney Crosby =]

Now there was I thinking it was the needle Max was scared of. I liked how Autumn handled him - totally deflating him, yet not.

It's a great chapter and Sid was just funny as you know where talking about the janitor's closet, the girls' locker room etc etc etc.

So many things I loved about that chapter! Let's see here...first, there was Autumn calling Meghan back. That was hilarious, and I loved how she told her that Sid was at her place the entire night. Though, I have a feeling that's going to backfire on her in the future and Meg's going to go crazy on her (even crazier than she already is? haha).

And, then Autumn and Moose's conversation! Moose trying to convince her that he's not gay, as if she needs any more convincing after the previous night with him ;)

I liked that Tanger was the one that took her down the hallway, too, since they got to spend a little bit of time together. Especially since Kris wasn't too keen on her to begin with.

Can't wait for more!

Okay, first of all, you're probably going to think I'm crazy, but I was super excited just to read Ben Roethlisberger's name in the story. But, seriously, I love that man. And, I know you don't follow football, and you only added him in there because he's the QB of the Steelers. But, it definitely made me smile =)

And, now on to commenting the actual story...Ryan makes me laugh so hard. He is so gangsta child, it's hilarious. And, I so cannot wait to see him interact with Sid and his teammates. I can only imagine more laughter coming from that! And, Ryan likes Max because he's the womanizer of the team and because of what he said to Hossa (which I have to say I loved too!). It's adorable! Though, I am worried about what's going to happen when Ryan tries to tell his classmates that his mom's dating Sidney Crosby. I know they're not going to believe him, and it's going to cause a lot of problems for him. And, I feel bad that people at school are picking on him. I hope that he can make some friends soon, and that they don't only become his friend because they find out that his mom is dating Sid.

And, then you have the future chapter (which I loved!). I'm so glad to see Max in there. It was nice to see that Sid confided in him with the health of the baby. And, he's already flirting with Rylan. That will be a fun relationship to watch grow, especially with her being a Flyers fan. Though, I'm sure Max can make anyone melt and cause them to fall for him!
