I'd like to start this comment off by saying that I absolutely adore this story, it is very well written and you are able to capture personalities beautifully. It made it very believable. Well done.
Second of all, I adore the layout. It fits perfectly with the story, and adds a classy feel to it. Congratulations on this great piece of writing, and I hope you update this again soon. I'm really looking forward to reading more!

I ADORE this story. I really like how you portrayed Lindsay; I feel like that's exactly what she'd be like in real life. Your detail flows very well and I like the word choice you used. Your theme is also beautiful! It gives that elegant little pop that I think fits your story wonderfully. I also really love the way you introduce Frank, by the way; his dog obsession never bores me and I think it's an adorable way to bring him into the story. Good work with this and I look forward to further updates! :)

Well I never read a MCR fic before and I was a little iffy when the comment swap sent me here, thankfully it did because just reading the first chapter got me hooked. I can totally feel Mikayla and her stress. I feel so bad for the girl and all that she put herself through and the total breakdown is just heartbreaking. Makes me want to hug the girl. Her perfectionist ways is going to get to her one way or another. I am definitely subscribing to this :)

oh my god, this story! comment swap brought me here, and i don't usually read these types of stories.
but, i love how you don't really need to know a whole lot about MCR to connect with the characters.
the way you describe things is pure perfection. there's enough detail to picture the event perfectly without an overkill.
and i just want to comment on your layout real quick.. it's beautiful. it fits the story perfectly!

I'm not much for My Chemical Romance fan-fics... never was a big fan of their music. No offense to any MCR fans out there. :) But damn, you can surely write. The detail didn't overwhelm me and the grammar was well done! :D

The only minor issue that I have is that maybe, possibly, space out the dialogue parts? :)

So instead of it looking like this:

“Yeah, it definitely started out that way,” Mikayla laughed, “Tell me about yours instead.”
“Okay… Well, Gerard and I went out with Frank. He got another puppy.”
“What’s that, like, ten now?” she joked.
“Three,” he amended, chuckling. “I told him that’s the last one. Our apartment is gonna start to smell if he brings in any more animals.”
“Think he needs a girlfriend.”

It looks like this:

“Yeah, it definitely started out that way,” Mikayla laughed, “Tell me about yours instead.”

“Okay… Well, Gerard and I went out with Frank. He got another puppy.”

“What’s that, like, ten now?” she joked.

“Three,” he amended, chuckling. “I told him that’s the last one. Our apartment is gonna start to smell if he brings in any more animals.”

But if you don't that's fine by me. :) Keep updating, I really like where you are going with this idea. :D

I thoroughly enjoyed the descriptive writing throughout the story, reading this has (honestly) given me a better idea on how to continue and maybe even re-write the story of mine, maybe try and make it a little easier on the reader.

Over all, i am not exactly a huge fan of MCR, I like their music but never really got into them. But this story is fantastic and might just convert me. Very well done and looking forward to the next update!

This is cute, and I have got to say my favorite line is the last one. "Frank breathed a smokey smile"
It's a real cliffhanger, the subtle kind that really leaves you hanging. I adore it and I can't wait for more. Please update soon!

I like how you've used celebs but in a subtle way so it isn't like the common and unrealistic fan fics often written. good story *subscribes*
