...So the days trudged on, and though no one was willing to accept it, an update-free Christmas was fast approaching...

And soon after that, New Years.

It seemed as though all was doomed. Where was everyone to turn? The only other option was the most dreaded...move on and live life without our beloved story. But to live without the constant quench to our soul's thirst for Frerard, the Frerard we've all held nearest and dearest to our hearts? What kind of life would that be! It would be but a mere existence.

Before we know it, there will be weddings and funerals and graduations and birthdays, but no update. What was once our lifeline will be left behind by it's very creator, forever shrouded in the darkness of that infamous pile of things we all meant to do but simply never got the chance to finish.

Leaving such a magnificent tale unfinished would be as blasphemous as if the Beatles hadn't ever finished a song or if the Mona Lisa were left incomplete. The airplane, the television, radio, cell phone, what if they all just forgot about their beloved creations and clouded their minds with more realistic, present thoughts and tasks. What kind of world would this be if everyone just simply...forgot?

And so the audience continued to wait with thinning patience, but hopeful hearts nonetheless. Because where there is a story with a brilliant start...there is sure to be a brilliant end.
