    You're shitting me, 73 chapters?
I don't have that kind of time.
Hell, if I start I won't be able to stop.
So I'll settle for this, a rec and a sub, and read it when I have time:

    This is gonna be epic.

This is one of the most well-written stories on this site! I am seriously blown away. Going to the prequel to read the whole series, don't EVER delete this! (:

Wait. Wait. Wait. You should do an epilouge of Jamie and Jay's wedding and the birth of the baby and it's name and stuff.

Just worked out how to post comments.
I started reading Crowded ages ago but never finished. I was really pleased to find it a few weeks ago and even happier to see there was a sequel :) This is probably my favourite Green Day story I've read. It was really well written and I love it.
I'll be sure to read anything you write in the future

Thanks Brianna7x! That is a lot of reading you must have done in one go :) I'm so glad you enjoyed both stories, thanks for dropping in to let me know! I'm glad it felt realistic too, because I also enjoy stories that have some realism to them.

    Thanks again!

Alright, can I just say....I came across 'Crowded' a few days ago maybe?
I read through both stories in a matter of a few days and....wow.
I just loved every single thing about both. Absolute BEST GD-related story i've ever come across.
So much detail and I love Jamie's character throughout.
I knew Jamie and Jay would end up being together near or at the end so the ending was fantastic ;]

I mean, I know that every single little thing that happens in stories doesn't have to be realistic.
But honestly, the stories that ARE realistic and involve real-life events are just so much better. So I DEFINITELY applaud you for that and really enjoyed reading both of these stories.
And sorry for being a silent reader....couldn't seem to tear myself away from the story though.

Thank you so much Stormflash, I'm really glad the ending was to your liking! Thanks for always commenting too, you have been a faithful reader! And LeLion, comparisons to Harry Potter are insane, but appreciated - that's awesome you think so! Thank you so much!

Oh, Elle, the last chapter was amazing. The whole story was amazing. And finally, YOU are amazing, haha. Thank you for taking the time to share your characters with us and to create this fantastic story that always left us wanting more. Without a doubt, your Billie Joe and Tre will always be my favorite. xx.

P.S. I'm going to pretty much demand a wedding story now, haha. :)

I can't believe it's actually over. It never occurred to me that it would actually eventually come to an end, and now that it has, I still can't exactly comprehend it. That being said, this epic - Crowded/Tangled In Lights - it's definitely up there in my all time favorites, as far as multi-chaptered fics go. The way you've written these characters, keeping real life events in mind, and created a believable plot is ridiculously refreshing. From the emotions to the humor, you've done one hell of a job, and I thank you for the experience of reading this lovely tale!

Now that I'm done being corny, let me also say. . . hope to see more from you in the future! ;)

I just... can't believe it's over. I feel like I was reading something with as much quality as Harry Potter. I'm happy that I caught this wonderful creation before it ended. I'm so sad it's over.
Best Tre/Billie Joe story I have ever read.
I'm going to stay subscribed to this just in case I want to read it over again, which I probably will one day.

"Their hands swinging gently between them and he felt a warm sense of calm in his stomach, like he was walking on air, and everything finally had its place."

I knew it was ending and I didn't want it to, but when I read that I couldn't help but agree, everything is in place now, why spoil it by keeping it going for no reason?!
I have loved reading this story so much, and this final piece of the puzzle managed to wrap everything up, from hearing Joey and Ramona are still scheming to little Matty turning five. I'm glad Mike is content too, he'll never be a spare wheel as far as I'm concerned!
The little bit at the end where Tre and Billie were remembering being young was fun to read, but it was also really thrilling to hear them agree that getting old together will be something to look forward to rather than dread the idea of ageing.
This has been amazing, although it deserves more commendation that that I can't think of any other way to describe it, and I look forward to whatever you choose to take up next, hot one shots or something else XD

After one of my worst weeks ever, you have no idea how much this story has been like an injection of happiness! Despite the fact that I am still gutted that it is over, that emotion pales in comparison to the warm and fuzzy feelings it has left me with. I love how you dot every i and cross every t with the story, so the matrix of characters all have their stories completed. Jay and Jamie planning their wedding, Joey and Ramona still creating havoc, the littler kids being perfect accident prone kids, Matty wanting a skateboard for a present for him and the baby, then the wonderful perspective of Billie and Tre’s relationship from Mike, knowing he is fully supportive and never the spare wheel – words just fail me. Throughout the whole story there is so much realism, I can totally see them doing certain things, like Billie enjoying shopping, and then how you weave real incidents into the story too, like Foxboro shows and outfits.
As for the lack of sex in this story, I totally agree with you. Don’t get me wrong, I am as fond of a good sex scene as the next person, otherwise I wouldn’t have started reading this sort of stuff, but I would forgo that instantly for a detailed and emotive relationship tale like this one. Hints of sex can be just as erotic and exciting as a blow by blow account (maybe not the best choice of words there!), like when Tre was so desperate after the Foxboro show that he was willing to go into the bathroom with Billie, despite it not being the most pleasant of environments. There was no description of what happened there, but you know, my imagination is pretty good, and I can guess that they enjoyed themselves, I don’t specifically need you to detail it for me. I’ve wittered on long enough, if you don’t get by now that I am a very happy bunny and you have made my life that bit better for having written this, then I am not going to be able to further convince you otherwise. All that is left for me to say is Thank You.
p.s. As for the page count thingy, a bit anal I know, but I tend to save stories I really enjoy into word documents, so that I can read them again. Sometimes web sites go down, or people close their user accounts, and rather selfishly I want to keep them! Total pages 309.
