i read this in one day. i adore it, everything about it, and liam especially. he was perfect.

the only thing is that if you ever decide to rewrite it, men in the air force never partake in hand to hand combat. my dad was in the air force. on day's off, they're on the base. they suffer enough as it is.

    other than that, a m a z i n g . :)

I think everyone would love to have a short story of Elle and Liam "meeting" again after she passes away. I would love love love to read about them one more time.

I've been meaning to read this story for ages and I finally did and... wow.
I cried, hard. You have an amazing way of shaping your characters, so real and touching and I just.
    Good job, dude.

I only have the time to read the first chapter, but this story is already intriguing and beautifully original. I can't wait to read more.

Oh God I just re-read the last chapter and started to cry like a baby and it doesn't help that I'm listening to dramatic piano music either.

    Fuck. I miss these two.

This story was absolutely beautiful in such a chaotic way. I'm so glad I found it. It made me tear up on more than one occasion and I so wish it wasn't over. You did a really great job with this one. It was beyond wonderful <3

    "Good Job, Dude" :))
But really, I just found this story today, and read it from beginning to end. It's now 1:40 in the morning and I have to be up at 5:30 to help get siblings ready for school and whatnot... but I couldn't stop reading. The way you write and the usage of words you use just pulls people in! The last few chapters, I definitley teared up... There was no stopping it. But in a strange way, I loved the ending, it was just right...

    :)
You cried and decided you should make us cry as well?
Caroline, this story is amazing; it touched my eyes and made me cry and touched my heart and made me smile; and it trickled down my skin and fell at my feet and made me sad.
    It fell in a puddle; a puddle of dinosaur piss;
    I felt so lame.
You made me feel so lame; lame for crying my heart out.
When men go to war, they are predestinated to die prematurely. Some die shot by hungry bullets, some die dismembered by explosions and the rest, the ones blessed with coming home alive, die by an illness inflicted in battle.
    It's sad; it's really sad.
But it's also sweet; a slap across the cheeks, a slip on your best friend's intenstines, maybe a napkin filled with sad sentences, all followed by sweet and unconditional love.:)
I'm sorry for my stalkish attitude, but I'm really happy that I found a writer so good it elicites tears from my eyes.
Please write more; please write happy; please write sad; please write...

    Your fan,
    Me

I literally just sat down and read this entire story this afternoon, and I loved it!!
You created two very real and very lovable characters, and while, obviously, I was saddened by the ending, it was just right.
    Excellent story :)

Wow. Your story made me cry.
I could hardly get through the last chapter.
But it was amazing. I loved the way you wrote it,
and the characters and everything else seemed so real.
You're just an amazing auther all around.
And, funny coincidence: Liam died from cancer about a
week before my dad died from cancer.
Well, maybe not that funny, but still.
I just love this story. :)
