ANYWAYS. I've always wanted to be a vegetarian. Like, my friend is, and he's always preaching that meat's so baad, but I just can't do it. I love meat.

Ha, I know how Gerard feels about going “brain dead”. I feel like that too often. Too often for my own good, in fact… I think I need help, but nobody has to know. XD
The internet gives people too much information sometimes, lol.
I like that Frank is just now trying to become a vegetarian. I thought it was so sweet how the first thing Gerard thought of was that he was only doing it to stay skinny – kind of like some fad diet or something. I just really like how that was his first impulse.
Oh gosh, I'm not going to lie, when Gerard first saw Frank looking at butchered animals without any explanation as to why he was looking at them, I thought he was going to become some sick and sadistic person. I don’t know why I thought that though…
I'm glad that that was not the case, however! ^_^
I do hope that things go well for Frank though. I don’t want him to start getting worse and worse again until he's practically withered away to nothing.
I'm really beginning to wonder about what you have planned for this story!
Ooh, you and I have something in common! ---We’re both thinking up a seasonal one-shot story. =P

Aw, this is really great. I'm a little concerned that Gerard's turning into a bit of a control freak with Frank. This is really amazing, I'm finding it hard getting used to the fact that it's Gee's point of view though lol :)

I loved the last two updates!!! I think it's so amazing how much Frank has changed. He's almost like a whole other person, but I think he changed for the better. And I'm glad that there are some things that Gerard likes about the new Frankie.

I can't wait to read more!! And congratulations on having some snow!! XD

The update was amazing!
Although Gerard didn't particularly have any negative thoughts about the "new" Frank, I could see how this situation was kind of awkward.
Frank was acting very nuturing and motherly.
The way he came in and started interrogating Gerard with questions about whether he wanted something, if he needed help, etc. was a little bit pushy.
Especially since, in conclusion to that, he started to distract Gerard by offering him intimacy...
Althoughb Gerard felt that he was mothering Frank by suggesting what he could do and making sure his homework was getting done, it was really only in response to Frank's own mothering in the first place (excluding the suggestive stuff, of course).
Gerard didn't seem particularly annoyed about this, but I can definitely imagine that he could become this way if this situation occurs numerous times in numerous contexts.
Anyway, thank you so much for such a lovely update!
This story is just fantastic.
I can't wait to read more.

okay, where's the story!? it's not here and i need it to be. D: update soon, love. i am in love with this story. i read all 100 chapters of skin and bones and this in three days. because I LOVE IT. :D please update. this story makes me laugh, cry, and everything in between.

this was another great chapter! slowly but surely gerard's just gonna start to notice things, either good or bad, and it's just gonna add up. obviously something's bound to happen, what with your lovely title implying it all :)

i can't wait to see how everything falls in (or should i say out? lol) of place.

Okay, so I feel bad for only commenting like, once on Skin and Bones, because I continued to read the story, and I must say, that I loved it.
I loved how you didn’t make Frank an attention whore who thinks that because they're anorexic that they need the most attention in the world or else they're a whiny little bitch… ha, that sounds really mean.
I'm glad that you didn’t make Frank loathe his Mom after all that she did to him. I don’t think that I could ever hate my Mom, no matter what she did, so I like that you kept it very realistic. Also, considering that Frank didn’t even know his father and here he was trying to gain custody of Frank, I think that Frank acted in the most mature way, even if he wasn’t at all happy. He didn’t try to run away or throw fits or anything.
I also think it’s so adorable how Gerard helped him through all of that, even if he was still struggling with his drinking problem.

Okay, and now to the first two chapters of the sequel =D

I love, love, love that you're doing this story in Gerard's point of view!
I definitely noticed quite a bit of confidence in Frank! (Haha, even though I cheated and already read the second chapter)
I think it’s so sweet that Gerard kept the mirror down for Frank.
I love how they're still together even after all that has happened, has. I think that it only brought them closer, in a way.
Pancakes:
Gerard's kinda scaring me… a lot. I can truly understand how he feels about Frank changing his attitude at home, and honestly, that’d make me feel a bit uneasy as well. I really don’t want anything bad to happen to their relationship, though I'm sure something will make it rocky. I can definitely tell that this will lead to some greater problem that you may have in stored.
I like that Gerard's parents are so kind to he and Frank. I mean, they don’t care that they're dating, and they’ve agreed to fight for custody over him and everything. It makes me wonder about my parents…
Hehe, I so agree on Gerard about waking up and then it taking a few hours to “become human”. I feel like a walking corpse.
Frank ate a whole pancake!!!!!!
And now, for your author’s note. LOL. I find it rather amusing that you're writing a story (and have written a wonderful story) about anorexia and you have you Christmas “diet”. Don’t feel like I'm making fun of you though, please, I have my “diet” as well. Maybe that’s why I feel tired constantly…
Anyway, I can't wait for more of this story! I love it already!

The update was excellent!
It is apparent through some of Gerard's thoughts in this chapter that these seemingly small annoyances have the potential to cause larger problems in the future.
There is no doubt that Gerard loves Frank more than anything, but he doesn't want to be the submissive one in the relationship.
He doesn't necessarily want to "dominate" Frank, but he wants to be the one to nuture him, and not the other way around.
I suppose he wants to be more independent with his own decisions and problems, but he loves the feeling of being wanted and needed by Frank.
To be honest, I really like that contrast between the personalities of Frank and Gerard.
It's sad that it will, inevitably, cause conflict between them, but it really is great as a plot.
These sort of relationships really do occur in real life, so it's not hard to believe at all.
Regardless of this, the outcome isn't one that can be easily assumed or guessed, so it's not cliched at all or anything like that.
Gerard is such a caring person, so it will be very interesting and surprising to see how these niggling thoughts are going to pester him, and how he's going to deal with them.
