I've never read Girl With A Pearl Earring, but I actualy want to check it out now. I think you really made this into a very interesting story, a lot different than a lot I've seen. So congrats on that and I will be looking for the sequel!

that was a beautiful ending to this story...i loved that frank was clueless but so trusting of gerard to let him do pretty much whatever he wanted to him....and the moment when gerard told frank he chose him, my heart melted....that was beautiful.

i'll definitely keep an eye out for the sequel!

Aw, you know, even though it's over, I'm like... still satisfied. Which nearly never happens. Anyway, this is a very good story and I can't wait to read the sequel. And maybe The girl with the Pearl Earring too, because if it's anything like this, it's worth a read.

gerard's an effing idiot...i love bob's speech, i love how all ray had to do was look at gerard and say his little bit and then gerard was pretty much done for....

i just loved that update in general! i love this story!! i'd have to hold my opinion for sequel till i read the ending of this one...i do rather like horror stuff, i cannot lie, but sometimes those sorts of things do not fall in to play sometimes....so in all honesty, i'll have to wait to give my opinion...sorry!
