Just now catching up, but honestly, THT was so great- never in my life has a story moved me to tears so many different times. A character has never felt more realistic than Andie did, and I feel blessed that I caught their amazing tale at the beginning. I'm not much of a commenter, but know that your writing is amazing and I have enjoyed THT for the 3 years that you've been writing it. The end of THT was beautiful- I was crying and smiling the whole time I was reading! Awesome job- I will definitely be going back just to read it over again!

I really enjoyed this. I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into this. There were no grammar/spelling mistakes that I could catch, and I thought it was the perfect length. Wonderful. Truly wonderful.

So wait. No deaths, three chapters. Oh my, who are you and what have you done with Shari?

Heh, I am kidding. Ooooh, little Way-Redmonds running around! ...Although they're not little. But Gerard didn't eat Noah, so that's all good. Ooh, and Andie is still the same. :* I missed her.

Wow. Thanks, everybody! But really, I'm having so much fun writing this. After ending THT with that little intro of Gianna, then Abi mentioning this contest, I thought, what better way to devote a few chapters to this relatively new father-daughter relationship? But I also thought it should be able to stand on its own as a short story, even if you weren't a THT reader. Either way, I'm glad you said hello!

BTW, forgot to mention, LOVED the bit about Gianna linking her fingers thru her dad's. You are SO GOOD at that type of description!

Seeing Gerard interact with his kids (espicially Gianna) is really sweet. It's kind of exactly how I imagine real life Gerard will be in 15 years.

A sequel ;D It's awesome too. Since my dad is exactly like this, I can totally relate. Too bad Andie isn't in this chapter alot. Shame, since she is my hero after all.
