I just finished reading all 63 chapters. I'm absolutely enthralled. I hope you can finish this story, though I see it's been pretty stagnant for a couple years. I'd love to read the end, anyway.

Is this even a romance story or is this just a story? Cuz it doesn't seem to really going anywhere between them and I say that with total respect it was a good story just lacked in some romance, but if it wasn't a romance then it was perf

Yeah wow so I said I'd do my long ramble and came back 5 months later, but I kinda just fell off the face of the earth for a bit so don't take it personally. Anywho.

Something foreign and deeply unsettling was going on between herself and The Joker

Okay, so the list of people who know that Kenna + Joker = 4ever:

- Irish Lad (I'm ashamed to say I've forgotten his name, a re-read might be in order)
- Darla
- Probably Alan King tbh
- Sort of Kenna ??
- Also probably Alfred and Bruce (although they view "4ever" in the "ur 4ever my captive Kenna lol" way but I'm counting it)
- Everyone who has watched them interact for more than 3 seconds?

So I mean really the final obstacle is the Joker here. I don't have a lot of hope, but hey, once Kenna full admits it, maybe...

Anyway

“What are you getting out of this? If you want to watch me squirm take it out on me. Not him.”

Ahhh, Kenna. Always the noble one :')

“If my good buddy Al admits that he wants to bend you over his knee. That he wants to hear you call him ‘Daddy’.” he sneered.

Yeah a part of me was sort of hoping that this was the Joker's weird jealousy coming out ("I'm the only one who gets to call you kitten, kitten!!" kinda thing, but unfortunately...

“You see, I’ve been hoping for this. Now and again the universe makes a fine case for fate. Look at me when I’m talking to you, princess.”

This was very pinpoint accurate jokery dialogue here.

“Because acting like a saint does not absolve you of your ssssins.”

This too.

“You think to yourself: hm, I wonder why this is here? So let’s take a peek. Oh, there are files for rooms. Hallways. The grounds. But then…then there’s one that simply says…’K’.”

“Jesus. Jesus Christ.” whispered Alan, closing his eyes and beginning to tremble.

^ Alan in this part was basically me reading this entire thing. Goddamit it King, I thought you were decent

The universe had not been in a habit of providing her with any help.

The Joker’s grin was so ferocious the room temperature seemed to drop several degrees.

“Haven’t I, doll?”

I loved this chapter just like I've loved every chapter, and I really really hope you update soon! This is my favourite fanfiction of all time, absolutely no lie. :3

It's been so long for the both of us, probably more me than you. I just got back on the site again and I'm playing major catch up here. A full time job is time consuming huh? xD Great story! Awesome in fact.

This story is incredible! I've just discovered it, and in the matter of two days already made it to the latest update. I've even gone to the extent of staying up in the wee hours of night to read it because of how captivating you've made this story. (And I've had my dad look at me like I'm out of my mind to be up so late reading, when he's getting up for work, hahahah!)

There are never enough surprises that keep pulling me in to this plot. More so, the way your characters interact with one another [especially Kenna and The Joker] have me smiling because of how realistic and creative it is.

Keep up the great work, and I can't wait for another update!!

I e stumbled across this story a day or two ago and I have to say I'm happy my iPad didn't die on me while finishing it up to the most recent chapter! This has been my favorite and best Joker story I've ever read! The way Kenna and the Joker go back and forth is great and so believable really. I would write more but I'm only at 1% right now haha. But I do hope you update soon!

I'm on a train right now so I can't do my usual long ramble (I'm gonna when I get settled) - but to see this updated made me incredibly happy, so thank you!

Love this story! The dialogue is great, character pov (I especially liked reading about what was going on in the Jokers mind), your writing- all of it from the beginning had me at the edge of my seat and I just couldn't get enough! Thanks for writing this, looking forward to more! Cheers!

GAAHHH Love the new update, it's really nice to get to see the way Kenna looks when she's thinking from Darla's perspective it really helps capture the essence of what everyone including the joker see's and loves in her and the beauty of how she carries her self. You made Kenna look beautiful without having to call her an amazing goddess w/ perfect body blah blah blah, which is something I really appreciate because I really hate "Mary Jane" characters. Plus this update made Kenna EVEN MORE endearing, I love how she can be so smart and strong (also read sassy) but still be so real and kind . You've got a really good thing going :D Keep it up wonderful!
