I read a piece on Matt's past and it was definitely heart breaking.
It just shows how far Matt has come (in real life of course) and I loved how you incorporated that into your story, it adds more depth to Matt's side.
It is true despite them dating at that time, they really never sat down and talked about their past and their real them.
But Matt did have a point though he could have at least opened up more to Ashley instead up keeping it all in.
So I guess that's why her parents and Zacky did not want Ashley to go out with Matt because of how he is and what he did in the past that got him in a lot of trouble almost killed when he got ganged up by so many people.
I know Johnny will not like it that Ashley is going to take Matt to the Tool concert.
I have a feeling that something is going to happened during that time!
I can't wait for the next update!

So Matt was waiting for Ashley's eighteenth birthday to come around so the restraining order against him could voided since Ashley is now a legally an adult????
I'm guessing being a total asshole to her was to keep the drama between them low and that's why he was both angry and surprise to see Ashley move on from him.
And form a bond with Johnny, the underdog.
You know if Matt was really waiting for the restraining order to null then he could have at least explained to Ashley instead of hurting her like that.
And now he has to watch her be happy with Johnny.
I believe now that both Johnny and Val are like people that help both Matt and Ashley heal because they were both hurt in this drama fest.
And maybe distance makes the heart fonder between the both of them.

I fell in love with Johnny with this chapter even more!
When Matt and Ashley went looking for them after their talk, they saw some whore try to convince Johnny to have sex with her but Johnny preserve against that ho!
He kept telling her that he already has a wonderful girlfriend that he cares deeply for and doesn't want to lose her because of a drunken mistake.
Johnny is one sweet and kind guy!
He is the perfect boyfriend and I am happy that Ashley cares deeply for him almost to the point where she loves him very much.
Though she is not ready to say 'I love you' yet but she is close to the point to it since she cares so deeply for Johnny and she feels at peace with him.
And Matt sees that, despite how much he wants her back, Ashley is happy for once with Johnny.
As that saying go, 'If you love someone then you let them go, if they come back then you're meant to be' I think! lol
I believe that Matt is going to be the one falling for the tension between Ashley because she did before and look what happened to her.

Aw Zacky and Ashley having a brother and sister moment!
He should be proud to have Ashley as a sister because of all the harsh things she went through when she is still a teen.
But the scare physically and mentally that Ashley received will help her grow to a strong woman.
I seriously adore Johnny and Ashley's relationship, they are the most adorable couple though Zacky won't leave them alone for too long because they will get grabby with each other!
It's going to take a lot got Matt to truly redeem himself because of what he did to Ashley in the past.
Sure he had moved on when he didn't think that Ashley didn't want to be with but he went with the person that was close to Ashley, one of her best friends and he did right away.
Whereas Ashley took a while to move on, and with Johnny they took things slow until they were comfortable with each other unlike Matt and Val.
Ashley probably doesn't want to say the four letter word because she did that to Matt and look where it got her.
She's a bit wary now that she survived the heartbreak that Matt caused but she knows that Johnny would never hurt like Matt did.
I still believe that what Matt believed is incredibly selfish because he wanted Ashley to put a hold on her life and future to wait for him.
Matt needs to grow up and realize that he can't have everything he wants and he needs to let go of Ashley for good if he wants her to be truly happy.
She needs to have the space to start her own life, make new friends and explore her new found freedom now that she has graduated high school.
I really don't see Matt and Ashley being friends with each other because in the end they still have feelings for each other though Ashley may slowly getting over Matt.
Matt will always have the reminder that he let go of one of the most amazing girl because of his teenage stupidity and ego got in the way.
Matt has made his bed and now he has to sleep in it.

Hmm so Ash and Matt have decided to be friends...for some reason I dont see that working well for them lol. I mean given their history they are either going to go back and hate each other or end up banging each other senseless again and cause their relationships to fail.
