Anyhow... for any other story I'd suggest an almost rape... but an actual one already happened to your main character, so... Maybe Nick shows up? Then Rayne freaks out, and... idk... since it's not at school then maybe Slay and Nick can get into a real fight, with out getting stopped by teachers? Sorry if I'm not much help...
